COOKIES POLICY
INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES
In accordance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce
(LSSI), in relation to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016,
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user of all web pages that use dispensable cookies, before they browse them.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels are tools
used by Web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to
ensure the proper functioning of the site.
Through the use of these devices, the Web server can remember certain user data, such as their preferences for viewing pages on that server, username and password, products of most interest to them, etc.
COOKIES AFFECTED BY THE REGULATION AND EXCEPTED COOKIES
According to the EU directive, cookies that require informed consent from the user are analytical cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, with technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user being exempt.
TYPES OF COOKIES BY PURPOSE
Technical and functional cookies: these are those that allow the user to navigate through a web page,
platform or application and use the different options or services that exist therein.
Analytical cookies: these are those that allow their controller to monitor and analyze the
behavior of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through
this type of cookies is used in the measurement of the activity of websites, applications or platforms and for the
creation of browsing profiles of users of these sites, applications and platforms, in order to
introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data made by users of the service.
Advertising cookies: these are those that allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising
spaces that, where appropriate, the publisher has included on a web page, application or platform from which
the requested service is provided based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency with which advertisements
are displayed.
Behavioral advertising cookies: collect information on the user's personal preferences and choices
(retargeting) to allow the management, in the most efficient way possible, of the advertising spaces
that, where appropriate, the publisher has included on a web page, application or platform from which the
requested service is provided.
Social cookies: These are set by social media platforms on the services to allow you to
share content with your friends and networks. Social media platforms have the ability to track
your online activity outside of the Services. This may affect the content and messages you see on other
services you visit.
Affiliate cookies: Allow tracking of visits from other websites with which the website has an affiliation agreement (affiliate companies).
Security cookies: store encrypted information to prevent data stored in them from being
vulnerable to malicious attacks by third parties.
BY OWNERSHIP
First-party cookies: are those that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain
managed by the publisher itself and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
Third-party cookies: are those that are sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain that
is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
ACCORDING TO THE RETENTION PERIOD
Session cookies: are a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user
accesses a web page.
Persistent cookies: are a type of cookie where data continues to be stored on the terminal and can
be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie controller, which can range from a few
minutes to several years.

| HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES FROM THE BROWSER | ||
|
Delete cookies from the device |
Cookies already on a device can be deleted by clearing the browser history, which removes cookies from all visited websites.
However, some saved information (e.g., login data or website preferences) may also be lost. |
|
| Manage site-specific cookies | To have more precise control over site-specific cookies, users can adjust their privacy and cookie settings in the browser. | |
|
Block cookies |
Although most modern browsers can be configured to prevent cookies from being installed on devices, this may require manually adjusting certain preferences each time a site or page is visited. In addition, some services and features may not work correctly (e.g., profile logins). | |

AEPD VIDEOTUTORIALS TO HELP CONFIGURE PRIVACY OPTIONS ON THE INTERNET
The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) has published several video tutorials on YouTube to help users configure privacy options step by step in operating systems, browsers, social networks, and most used apps:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUjcI9KR6XDCZKyvztYfIJQX8in_Pn_6S
The videos begin with a brief introduction explaining what each service is and what it is used for. Then, they provide a detailed review that guides users step by step through the privacy and security configuration options of each of these services, offering recommendations to choose the highest possible degree of privacy.
Some of the options covered in the videos are: changing settings so that only our contacts can see our profile picture or disabling the time of our last connection on WhatsApp, managing who can see our profile activity on Facebook and how other users can find and contact us, or activating the "private account" option on TikTok so that only users we approve can follow us and see the videos we publish.
The published video tutorials are:
Operating systems:
Android
iOS
Browsers:
Chrome
Edge
Firefox
Social networks:
Facebook
Instagram
TikTok
Twitter
Apps:
